That must be the worst episode of BBT there is.
The opening word/pun "joke" about Batman-Manbat was terrible, just as the closing "joke" about it.
Howard is simply an asshole to his wife (for a long time now).
Raj is an asshole to women and no one calls him out on it, no, they tolerate his annoying bragging for the most part.
The storybranch about the roommate agreement was basically a reused script from an earlier episode.
And the insult-Stuart-on-the-street scene felt absurd and unnecessary.

The Stuart street incident was the worst. I can't see a group of guys who were all bullied eating one of their own like that.

The roommate agreement stuff didn't bug me as I found it believable for Leonard to say enough is enough with that silliness. The only downside to that whole arc was that it made Sheldon a truly unlikable character.

The only thing I'll disagree with is Raj being an asshole. His character has been wasted since day one. He's been absolute fodder for the other characters stories season after season.

I wish they'd write Howard out of the series. I stomach his arcs purely for the Bernadette character.

We had it rather often that Leonard took a stand against Sheldon in some way or another but this time it felt lazy as it came out of nowhere. That bugs me the most about it.

Surprising comment about Raj though. I always thought he was the one who brought in some possibilities/glimpses for better stories "outside" of the group, even when more of a side note to the actual plot. I wouldn't exactly call that fodder for the other character stories, but more of a breakout of the - in these days rather stale - dynamics of the others (and maybe filler).
Now sadly with a story of dating two women - accepted by the group, oh well..it will blow up in his face rather sooner than later.

They made the mistake of adding the characters of Raj and Howard to the main cast and are now stuck with them. As I see it the story of Howard reached its end with Bernadette being pregnant at the latest. But writing him out would affect Bernadette and in great parts Raj, too. Not to speak of the reaction of the other actors that could be pretty negative, especially Nayyar. I think it's too late for that now. :/

I think Batman-Manbat joke thing was geeky enough to non geek people laugh about it, It's just like any bullshit sheldon is argue about it from the beginning of any episode to the end of it and It's like his existential question, you know.

But the joke wasn't the content of it (if it would've been I'd agree with you), it was the attempt at making a pun joke with the repetition of "bat" and "man" as often as possible and make it funny with that exaggeration (think Family Guy style where this kind of humour is typical). It didn't work here at all. I found it incredibly obvious to be honest and seemed very forced to get a laugh out of it.
