Well I'm not sure how this show progresses from this episode, but from what I've seen so far, I can tell that it's not a classic delivery of a superhero story. While this show has some incredible fighting scenes, it is slow-paced, more talkative than action-y in its nature. It's mostly gritty and raw, but at the same time manages to balance it with witty and funny small moments and interludes. The acting is great and the relationships seem believable. The dialogues between people are interesting and clever, and the slow dynamic of the show, for me personally, grows a good kind of tension instead of having a boring effect. Despite of the origins of the main character, this show seems like a better fit for fans of criminal dramas like Breaking Bad than comicbook-y series like Flash and Arrow. Probably not what your usual Marvel fan that got used to light-hearted pieces has in mind, but I'm definitely having fun with the content I'm getting here.
