I'm certainly not a big fan of the "Star Wars" prequels, and Episode I has perhaps the biggest low points in the entire saga, especially the character Jar Jar Binks and the acting of Jake Lloyd, who obviously didn't get any guidance from director George Lucas. But "The Phantom Menace" also has one of my favorite sequences in the entire saga with the Darth Maul fight on, which is choreographed beautifully and accompanied by perfectly fitting music. I also like Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi and the podrace. That's why I still enjoy watching the movie, despite its numerous shortcomings.
