Editor: how many slow-mos?
Zack Snyder: Yes!!!!

This movie would be normal length (or shorter) without all the slow-motion scenes and that probably would’ve been better for the pace.. who the f thinks showing someone refilling his water-bottle in slow-mo is a good idea?
It makes you think „what will the Zack Snyder cut be like? 4 hours slow-motion only?“

Also the overly melodramatic protagonists just get me not caring for them as it’s all too … well, melodramatic and over-the-top.

All this movie does is too in-your-face and wannabe. And the story is just a bit too dumb, just a „star war“ over a farm, ridiculous.
I sometimes think that some filmmakers just use such lame plots to have a reason to throw in fights, explosions and visual fx. It’s not like before anymore where fx were used for world-building and immersion of a great story.

Like someone wrote in a review for the first part, this movie seems like a Star Wars fan fiction of a high school nerd. This time there even was kind of a lightsaber fight, though in bad .. and they had the colors wrong, good is blue and red is evil, not the other way around. XD

If they really do more of this, I will pass. I watched the first and wasn’t impressed. Now I watched this hoping it’ll get better, but it didn’t.
