The plotholes as people call them; just means not everything was given away yet. I mean I think what makes Rey powerful is that she can do anything she puts her mind to.
Like wielding a lightsaber, controlling people or even flying Hans' ship. She said to Finn she didn't even know how she did that.
There's definitely mystery to the characters that the prequels didn't have. Yet people are still complaining ?

Movie was entertaining, but the story was too unoriginal and predictable. Too much cheesy Disney humor and too many plotholes for my taste.
