Reflects what Daredevil fans have been wanting for years after the lackluster Ben Affleck movie in 2003, a darker, edger, more mature Marvel Universe. The show's version of Hell's Kitchen is spot on, grimy, rotten underbelly that has given way to the criminals leaving the innocent to fend for themselves. The fight scenes in the early episodes are beautifully filmed, with little CGI used. Vincent D’Onofrio is impeccable as Fisk as well as Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (after everything, you can't keep a good jawline down, lol). Hugely enjoyable.
