I don't want to hate Jar Jar Binks but for a comic relief character he is just so not funny. I takes so much energy not to be annoyed by him. Could've been better in smaller doses.
Anyway we still have that fun podrace, my nostalgia for Darth Maul still lives and I must have rewinded his death so many times when I was just a 12 year old boy. Still love the way he falls down today. R2D2 is always great, the CGI hasn't aged well but is okay, Samuel l. Jackson is still the greatest jedi ever, Yoda always entertains and I loved the design of all the aliens.
But in the end I never am bored rewatching Episode 1 and it is all a setup for the rest and still excited to rewatch the next 8 episodes.
