To the person who disliked the show - and for all the right reasons (sexism, racism etc).... You might actually enjoy the movies. They were directed and written by different people. Also made a lot later - so the problems you spoke of, aren't really in them. Especially the one directed By Leonard Nimoy (The Voyage Home) Star Trek IV. Highly recommended.
