This is a film i missed back in the 90's -and well i didn't miss much and i don't think its even because i'm older now either. I could see right off the bat that Stevo was a poser...No shock ending here and that geezer had the audacity to slate the English :) our films about subculture stomp all over this mess....check out This is England, Quadrophenia and Northern Soul to name but a few. There was a story in there somewhere and a different approach and cast may have turned SLC Punk into a half decent movie. Shaggy as a punk just wasn't believable enough and ultimately Stevo lived up to his Dad's perception of him being a cartoon character. I noticed the soundtrack soften up like Stevo as the film went on ...did i hear Spandau Ballet FFS :)
One bonus is Annabeth Gish looked as great as always
