Dorn has clearly problems to play Worf. He focuses on the violent, agressive side of his character. In the latter seasons (and in DS9), I like him better when he shows more of the famous dignity, honor and romantic/poetic traits of his race.

Here we have it: a malevolent alien non-corporal beeing takes over the minds and bodies of our fellow crew members. Several similar episodes will follow. I can't say I like this plot element. Most of the time, it makes a mediocre episode, makes actors overact, and conveys this cringy rape-ish idea (or minds possessed by ghosts). This episode is mediocre because it is mostly boring. I mean, every viewer will immediately realize what's going on (at least the big picture), while the crew endlessly investigates this mystery. I guess, it's just one of these mystery interlude episodes, that I usually don't like. Then there's this B-plot which is almost totally unrelated to the main story and inconsequential.

Yeah sure, Data is once again being Data and entertaining like always but that's not enough to improve this episode.

PS: I totally forgot about the dizzying array of engineers that were once responsible for running the ship's systems. Singh, who? Hard to bond with one of them when they constantly change. In hindsight, I'm glad that this task was later assigned to LaForge (and not to the wunderkind who is once again annoying AF). Troi is also useless btw. Until she gets her uniform she won't be anything else than a side-kick.
