I don’t think you understand why he left rumor has it he didn’t get along with castmates, had a huge fight with Donald glover off set and/or was racist. Another rumored reason he left was he didn’t like the hours they worked. According to Joel McHale one episode was the equivalent of making a movie a week and Chevy didn’t like the hours so he finally got tired and quit. So I think it was Chevy fault nonetheless so don’t take it out on the show

Love this show but for me it loses a lot after Pierce got cut. I’ve seen the seasons with Pierce about twice as many times as the seasons without him, it just isn’t the same. Much like with The Office after Michael left, most of my viewings of Community stop after Pierce has “died”, I just can’t get into the seasons without him.
Still though, this is a fantastic show that every fan of comedy should watch at least once.
