This episode was a let down after the previous episode. It was back to more mundane, predictable sitcom antics. The glimmer of something better is still there, but it seems obvious that the writers can't decide if they want to make something unique or a dime-a-dozen sitcom.
Jason is another stereotypical character that just isn't interesting. He is better than Eleanor, but that isn't saying much. Manny Jacinto is great, but he doesn't have much to work with.
