In the past, "The Walking Dead" midseason finales have been something to look forward to. The problem is, this final season is sectioned out into three different parts for a total of 24 episodes. The story is too fleshed out, leading to a midseason finale that had, maybe, one memorable moment. Everything else was a set up for something down the road. Not to mention, I wasn't tense AT ALL during the Leah/Maggie fight, because AMC decided to announce the upcoming Maggie & Negan spin-off series BEFORE the last season even premiered. Sitting there watching, I knew Maggie would escape the fight unharmed.

I think that I shouldn't have started revisiting "Breaking Bad" leading up to season 6 of "Better Call Saul", because watching newer episodes of TWD alongside the perfection that is BB just reveals so many flaws that this show has. I'm betting that the third part of this final season will be good, though. I mean, if it isn't, this entire season was a waste.
