A show ruined by poor writing, trendy topics, and an ungodly amount of cliche material shoved into its premise. The first season is solid, but the second season is some of the worst television I've ever seen. Some creative moments of crime-solving, but has pretty much the same structure for every episode making it painfully obvious who committed each crime.
(+) Solid performances from Tom Payne and Michael Sheen (+) Interesting/creative murders (=) Formulaic plot which takes away from the suspense/intrigue of a lot of episodes (-) Preaches far too often about serial killers, murder, motives, etc. (-) Annoying side characters who generally spit out repetitive lines of dialogue (-) Insane amount of current event material shoved into the plot, and some forced humor that is cringe-inducing to say the least
