Another decent episode. We got another new addition to the main cast, Ben Urich. Im looking forward to seeing more of this reporter guy, who feels unsatisifed with giving these fluff stories and wants to expose the important truths hidden within Hell's Kitchen. And it looks like he needs the money too, with his wife currently being hospitalized and the hospital not being able to hold her for long. Also, regarding Karen Page, looks like she isnt backing down and keeping quiet about Union Allied's corrupt practices, wanting to expose the truth because of her sense of justice, rather than just keeping quiet to stay safe, with her giving Ben a new story to report. Also, this epsiode was interesting for Foggy and Matt, with Matt seemingly breaking his ethical code for what clients he'd choose so that the lwayer firm could keep afloat. That speech Matt gave about the legal system was pretty interesting too, about how he views law as this objective system w/o judgment, only looking at the facts as they are and making conclusions based on that, its almost compleltly oppositie to Matt's attitude as Daredevil, a vigilante who takes justice into his own hands to rid the city of corruption. With Matt using the legal system which he seemingly intends to use for his sense of justice to get his client, a criminal working for Fisk, acquitted of his charges. Though of course, Matt was planning to take down that criminal as Daredevil, by forcing Heeley to reveal who he's working for. Also, regarding the criminal, its looking like James Wesley dude, whose a big name for a crime syndicate corporation is trying to clean up their violent trail that could easily lead back to them, with them using the legal system. Ironic huh, a system used to maintian justice and order is being wielded by profressional criminals to clean up their actions. Also, this William Fisk guy is one terrifying man, the top man of all these crime syndicates, with ridiculous power and control over everyone in Hell's Kitchen, and not the ind of guy you want to mess with. Every crime syndicates we've seen so far seems to answer to Fisk. I mean Heeley instead of facing the punishment Fisk would give for him giving up Fisk's name killed himself. And I can see why, I mean killing everyone you love then you just to make a point about why you shouldnt betray Fisk, i can see why he's so intimidating. It looks like Matt is now faced with this unreachable crime lord who has complete authority over Hell's Kitchen. And Matt's now starting to take in how deeply the corruption runs throughout Hell's Kitchen, how Matt can't just punch his way through the root of all this crime infesting the city. And man, the ending scene where Fisk was just standing there observing a white painting, as classical piano was being played, a scene straight after Heely just killed himself to escape Fisk, was just such an intimidating shot. William Fisk just gives off a completely different air than everyone else we've seen in the show, it almost screams that Fisk is the man everyone answers to, with Fisk out and about observing art without a care in the world, fully aware of how untouchable he is. And it looks like that woman Vanessa might be his wife.
