Unless you found VHS or LaserDisc you got the early 2000s remasters not 1960s SFX. altough not the hack job of George Lucas trying to "FIX" star wars but many scenes have new CG. Class M planets all look like Earth and the Enterprise is reshot from more natural angles (don't have to hid strings). The Writing/Acting are hit and miss. Season 1 is good they were writing separately which explain unevenness. Season 2 is definitely the best they have characterization. Season 3 has the most out-of-character/weird reactions to situations almost like season 1 all over again.

I just watched the whole show. It was truly amazing. There were some boring moments, but I guess that is normal when you watch a season in a day. I was impressed with quality - which is amazing for that time.
