3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’:
Margot Robbie clearly has a whole lotta fun with Harley. And she definitely owns it. I certainly had fun watching her.
Overall, it was fairly entertaining, but I feel like there was a pacing issue. It took a while to get to the point. And when it got to the point, I’m not sure I cared. The story and the supporting characters were ultimately both kinda meh.
The fight scenes were fun, but they almost felt a bit too choreographed. More like a dance than anything. To me, these characters weren’t kicking ass, they were hitting their marks. If that makes sense.
