I do not like this show. I think it's yet another overly generic cliched dystopia that heavily misunderstands capitalism and literally brings nothing new or interesting to the table. It is just Battle Royale meets Total Drama Island meets every 1980s-1990s Nickelodeon game show (a la Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare). Not very original in the slightest. I feel like the only reasons why it's so liked by many are that it's a cautionary dystopian tale, a Netflix original, and a Korean drama.
