It’s not in order because Trakt uses TMDB which uses first air date only for their show orders. Cowboy Bebop only aired some episodes at first. Later, they aired all episodes in order. But because the first airing was not in order, TMDB is out of order (which won’t be changed, it’s a non-negotiable rule). However, there are “alternative episodes lists” on TMDB that show the correct ordering.
