They tried to recapture the lightning in a bottle of S1's finale showdown between Chuck and Axe, but failed. It wasn't bad, but it pales in comparison. The scene between Chuck and his father, though... now that was something. Chuck Sr. is a pretty terrible person, but that was still devastating.
