"A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended."
The Dark Knight Rises is still as epic as the first time I've watched it. It has been a good 9 years and time to watch this one again. The action still holds up, the story feels as big as ever, Bane (Tom Hardy) is a great villain, enjoyed Anna Hathaway as Catwoman, wished I saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt in his Robin costume, still painful to see Alfred (Michael Caine) cry and Talia Al Ghul (Marion Cotillard) twist is still great.
Everyone brings there A-Game, still love the football pitch disappearing, love it as an ending of trilogy (only thing to bring this back is the Dark Knight Returns storyline with Bale as a very old Batman), Christoper Nolan really did an amazing job and it's up there with my favorite trilogies.
Even though it's a long sit it never fails to bore you, so many things happen and they're all connected. And oh before I forget the Hans Zimmer score is still epic.

Yes, this was a lovely pick for today.
