The last time I reviewed Ant-Man I said that it was one of the best MCU outings to date, and that doesn't ring all that true anymore. It's still a good movie...just not all the way up there.
There is stuff to pick at, of course, but I can look past the "cheap" and "low budget" look, the wonky cinematography, and some weird casting choices. What I can't ignore this time around is the pacing issues in the first half. It takes away a bit from the fun that is Ant-Man.
Anyway...it's still a fun and engaging story, so don't let my nitpicking stand in the way of you enjoying it.
...and yeah...if you like hot women, Evangeline Lilly sure fits the bill.
