The film is basically an action movie with the women protagonists fighting against men. It was entertaining, it was fun to watch, and definitely enjoyable. It's far from being without issues, however. It's actually better to watch it with no other expectations than cool fighting scenes and explosions, all made better because of the feminist message sprinkled all over the movie.

The plot itself was bland (can't really expect a super-complex plot from a superhero/villain movie). Most of the characters didn't have depth to them, and Black Mask seemed annoyingly cartoonish to me. Gotham, yet again, felt like just any other city, without any real character. The narration felt off and useless most of the time.

Still, I loved the fighting scenes, and Harley's moves reminded me a bit of playing with her in the Arkham games, which is always a plus. The violent feminity of Harley was interesting to see, and the feminist theme was present everywhere. While I don't think it was subtle (at all), it was well done in that aspect, not caricatured, and it was entertaining.

All in all, this is a movie with a lot of problems regarding characters and plot. It's also an engaging and upbeat action movie that deserves a watch.
