You right, but as you'll see in next two parts of Nolan's trilogy, everything is very well planned and constructed. Especially wonderful villians ;) "Begins" as the name suggests it's only first chapter of the unique story.

Genuine superhero movie. The main drawback was boring, not charismatic the main antagonist and already standard in comic book movies - girl. The supporting cast, a big plus.
