Bad Boys for Life 2020

Bad boys bad boys, what you gonna do when we come for you

I mean, talk about nostalgia! Martin and Will just always had this incredible chemistry. It started in part 1, you saw it in part 2 and yearssss later, it's still there. I might be biased here, but I think this is a decent movie. Not a "I must see this in a theater or I will have missed a brilliant piece of cinematic masterpiece" type of movie, but enjoyable nonetheless. If you happen to catch this in a theater with friends, and all you needed was a decent movie, with some "dad jokes", stuff exploding and some midlife crisis moments, then this movie fits the bill.

The emotional side of the movie wasn't handled very well if you ask me. Even in part 1, you could feel the emotions from time to time, but it was mostly rushed in this one. On the one hand, that's a good thing, because it allowed for more fights and explosions, but on the other hand, you kind of miss the connection with the characters. I think the balance between the emotions and the jokes, is what made part 1 a classic.

I am happy that at the end of the movie, the door is left open for something that could be a part 4. If it does happen, I'll definitely pay to watch it.
