Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace is complete and utter garbage that is actually painful to watch. The story is beyond stupid; the Saga begins…with a taxing dispute?! And, the acting (if it can even be called that) is cringe worthy; which is surprising given the talent on hand (Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Ewan McGregor, and Samuel L. Jackson), but somehow Lucas found a way to make their performances unbearable. Another cardinal sin of the film is the CGI effects, which are distracting and do nothing to enhance the film. Horrendously awful, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace is ruinous to the Star Wars brand.
