This was a surprisingly decent episode. And directed by Ian Somerhalder himself, no less. I wonder if that's why this episode felt, I don't know, better. The pacing didn't feel as fast, which is good. The entire episode was edited together nicely with each individual part lasting long enough in each scene without going back and forth every five seconds. Or maybe the writers decided to put in the effort because this is the penultimate episode. I don't know, this episode just felt more compact all around. I hope that same feeling will be present with the finale.
