@kd6-3-7 It was a poor episode overall, and I can only assume the reveal/attack happened when it did because Siddiq had figured out the water issue and so the whole poisoning scheme was about to be revealed.

And the music choices have always been really poor on this show.

@kd6-3-7 I think Dante had to kill Siddiq because you could tell that Siddiq found out. If Siddiq kept his cool this wouldn't have happened. But I do wonder why Dante was able to be there at the same time as Lydia. The two even interacted, wouldn't she have recognized him? She knew the whisperer that Carol and Daryl caught as well...

@kd6-3-7 I thought it was an excellent dupe - are you just cranky that none of us saw it coming? I am struggling with the fact that metal arm man (his name escapes me) is too busy chatting up Gamma and has not mentioned to anyone that he saw her bloodletting a walker into the creek. I also felt that by Siddiq clearing his mind with Rosita - it finally allowed him to see that it was water causing the fevers. I am so frustrated that he did not mention it to rosita when he saw the watermill!

@bingeorpurgetv Dante being an agent was pretty popular on the subreddit and other fan places so I'm not sure it's in anyway accurate to say that 'none of us saw it coming'.
That guy looked weird from his first scenes; that whole 'Gods of the Appocalypse'. Oh well, I still don't understand why people would want to be Whisperers, I am assuming he is, unless that might be why Lydia didn't recognize him; he's not. Also, wouldn't he be upset that Lydia isn't dead ? Or did he leave before that ? We don't really know when he showed up in Alexandria or anything much about him really. Actuallly thought it wasn't that bad. Don't really care about Siddiq though. Would love that they somehow got an actual proper doctor there though, I mean, have we actually ever seen a proper doctor ? Not a vet, or some ostrich doctore, or an army medic, or a nurse, or a psychologist or Siddiq (who I think dropped out of medical school, not sure), an actual high class and qualified doctor.

@kd6-3-7 and all - Oh I think we knew he was "off-color" and in retrospect I don't recall any decent origin explanation be given - but I just thought he was Mr Inappropriate and that was his schtick. I agree about a legit doctor would be nice, the closest would probably be Mr CDC man* and well, he was one of the worst creeps. I don't frequent the forums because I cover a few different shows and rely on armchair and professional critics on the net (rotten tomatoes/variety/deadline/so many bookmarks and youtubers. I love watching the Skybound reaction show, and I saw people being a bit repulsed by Dante but I think it was clever in regards to how Dante may have played into Siddiq's nagging sense of PTSD. I thought he was involved in the killing/pike stuff more than he let on - now I am not so sure. Maybe, he was trying to recall the entire memory for his subconcious was picking up on the sound of Dante's voice and mannerisms. Thanks for the replies everyone. I didn't mean to offend, I only meant that it can be a more layered twist than just a dumb reveal. The mask superimposed over his face, well that was just plain fun - maybe far fetched but hell, everyone in alexandria is so sick and bummed - I liked the comic aha!

Spolier alert * he was the suicidal sole survivor in the CDC (season one - CDC explosion)

@kd6-3-7 About the music, if you notice the credits, along with Bear McCreary there is another composer, he is McCreary's former intern. I'm afraid that he has left the show and he is only credited for the opening theme, and the other composer writes the music, that's why it's not at the same level with the other seasons
