Telling one story from two different points of view is a fascinating concept I fell in love with after watching the first season of the tv show The Affair. It is interesting to see the differences in dialogue, facial expressions, surroundings or even wardrobe depending on which character's memory is being shown - the truth of it all probably lingering somewhere in the middle.

This movie is said combined (and therefore a bit fragmented) story of Eleanor (Jessica Chastain) and Conor (James McAvoy) after they lost their child. Even though I really liked it, I hope I can watch the Him and Her versions of this story as well some day to see where the memories of these two characters differ and overlap.

Some random thoughts:
- One rating point extra for the use of "Wild Is The Wind" by Cat Power
- Now I want to cut my hair short again!
- If my last name was Rigby I probably would name my daughter Eleanor as well.
