The cast is good enough to get you through the movie. Lindsay Lohan gives one of her better performances. Matt Dillion is perfectly jerky as her racing competition. Before Michael Keaton’s comeback with Birdman, it was just nice to see him get a role. He’s also good even if he is playing a cliche father who doesn’t want Lohan to race in fear of her getting hurt. The humor is a bit outdated though. It’s like the same humor you would have seen in the 60’s and 70’s Herbie movies. Herbie is still a harmless good time to view with kids.
