@genetai you either don't care enough or you're just simply jumping to conclusions.
It wasn't all only about the introduction of a new bad "guy", which by the matters we don't even know this far if it's gonna be the new antagonist (like in the long-run) , but more about introducing the new dynamic of The Whisperers. I'd say this episode did an amazing job at doing that by giving enough back story through Lilly's flashbacks.

Seems like people liked this episode. I just found it a very long way to make it clear that it's a crazy white hillbilly momma running things... meh on the episode and premise of the new bad guy so far.
