Netflix added this movie so I rewatched it after already seeing it in cinemas when it came out in 2017. I felt the need to leave another review because it blew me away AGAIN. I knew everything that was going to happen and I still felt the same as I did the first time, as if I would change the outcome of the movie. Still superb. Seeing it the second time around I felt different toward Calvin. More like Hugh and less like Rory. I saw now how this creature being trapped, poked, burned, electrocuted would go on a killing spree and how it is trying to adapt, evolve and survive in these new settings. The CGI is fantastic, Calvin reminded me of a flower at first, beautiful how they made it move around.
I still recommend this movie to anyone. I still think it is the best Alien movie made so far because it is different that just a movie about Aliens trying to destroy our world. It's more about survival instinct. The ending still gives me chills and I hope there will be a sequel. I want to know more about Calvin and how he would survive on earth. There is a lot more that they could do with the story so I hope they will.
