@dannyland I have to agree with you Southland was one of best cop shows. This is watered down, dry acting and more cheese then a Dutchmans wife.
You obviously commented way too early and never watched Nathan Fillion in Castle (or really anything), or else you wouldn’t have ever even mention Southland.
This show is 50% cop drama and 50% comedy, so 100% Nathan Fillion.

They are clearly trying to be Southland, but it ends up being cheesy. The magic of Southland was how gritty and realistic it was, you can't really get that on network television.
