I like Jessica Chastain. I watch a movie because of her. Technically this is a good movie. Beautiful scenery and good, albeit not great, acting. But....I can't help but feeling let down by the story. It feels like they wanted to deliver the message yet were afraid to go all the way. This story is too important to waste it on a quasi romance. Yes, the scene when the horse starts dancing has power and is gripping. But throwing in a couple of original pictures and some lines before the credits just wasn't enough.
