I think that Yo-Yo was in the same state of mind: that Ruby is far-gone out of control and that they have to stop Ruby now, in any way possible, before she kills the planet. The difference here is that someone(s) else present disagreed that killing her was necessary. But, to Yo-Yo, it was the same kind of situation. It's a very subjective question, in any case, and we're not going to agree with the characters' decisions in every case.
In this case, much as I'd prefer that they'd be able to talk Ruby down, at that point, at least to Yo-Yo (and to me), that didn't look like a strong possibility, and the stakes if they proved unable to were just too high, so... I get it.
And if that weren't enough, I'm sure Yo-Yo's last Ruby-encounter (and the reminder pain in her new arms) somewhat colored her capacity for judgement concerning Ruby, and we don't all have the cold objective decisioning processes of LMDs...
IOW, agree with Yo-Yo or not, I get her call.
@thogek By the way, Cavalary was on a mission. Yo-Yo is inhuman and she didn't give any report to anyone. She doesn't have a superior; a boss or sth. else. This is not the way SHIELD works. This is why there is a Sokovia Accords in MCU. Cavalary did this for mission and certain chance to save people; Yo-Yo did this for paranoia and being asshole..

I just watch this; and for me in whole MCU most hated character is Yo-Yo! She is fucking stupid, i want her to die! She must suffer, cry like a bitch! She just killed a teen! (And blonde!)
