Yeah, the level of "suspension of disbelief" required lately just 'for the drama to work' is.. really too much. As much as I used to love this show.
It's not just that you wonder where they take all the ammo from (and why it never seems to really hit), but that whole "Walkers inside the gates" problem this episode was frankly ridiculous. Are they honestly telling us that, after ALL this time, when they KNOW whoever dies turns, not ONE person thought it might be a good idea to put up a guard in the infirmary? You know IN CASE one of the severly injured does die and turn? Well, if that's indeed the case our group is more stupid than they have any right to be. (Which I suppose is not what the writers want us to feel about them, so: really dropped the ball here.)
The whole "revelation" scene was shockingly bad in particular. "He wasn't bit. But he turned." Well, no shit Sherlock, like you KNOW people will, when they DIE. So for all THEY know, he might have still just died from his wounds. Getting from that to the Walker blood.. sudden stroke of genius, I assume?

@psychotickitten It's already bad enough that no one ever died after contact with zombie's blood. Some people got iterally covered in it. Didn't they ever got in it their mouth or some wound?
@honzih yea that is something they had a strong point with in the early episodes when Rick meets Glenn and company and they cover themselves up with walker blood etc...as the series went on imho did they totally discard that thought. there were so many times they could've infected themselves just by killing walkers whilst spreading gore and blood all over (and in) themselves.

Don’t know what to say anymore, I‘d like to love this show so much because it was one of my favorite tv shows until Negan came along. This storyline killed every thrill (and as I said before; he killed the soul of TWD with Glenns head bashed in). They firing insane amounts of bullets this whole season, killing one man after another and STILL they talking like „we won’t stand ANOTHER attack“ after that perfect set up ambush that STILL didn’t end this „war“?! What are they shooting? Blanks? How many Saviors are there? And STILL Negan running around with his stupid bat, that shit‘s just so annoying it is so sad, so fricking sad. Anyone remember Hershels demise? Man how I hated the Gov for this..now I don’t even know who is who anymore. That love interest from Carol fe? Man who gives a hoop, sry.
