@-puma- I agree, maybe because we still could see a glimpse of, idk, humanity with the Will Yun Lee's Kovacs 'version', while the present day Kovacs is, well, cold and distant
@-puma- That's what I've been thinking since the first episode. The "original" actor would do much better in the main role.
@-puma- I disagree. I read the book. And this episode was far away from what I have imagined. Joel is fitting the silent, aggressive character of the books a lot better. But as for all: it's a personal taste.

I have to say that personally, I like Will Yun Lee's performance as Takeshi Kovacs a lot more.
Joel Kinnaman does a decent job, but he's not that engaging for me.
