ok let me see if i got this right: the couple are meant to rebel against the system? that's how they prove they're a perfect match? pretty lovely and heartwarming episode, that universe does seem pretty unidimensional again, but the couple had chemistry and it was a good watch

I actually think you got it backwards. Now, I could be wrong but... I think the ones who rebel will never be matched again. The system wants complacency. Frank's ideal match wasn't Amy, it was Nikola. Not because they got along (they didn't) but because they were the typical, married for years, dead bedroom, stay together for no good reason couple. That's what the system wants and that's why Frank's time with Amy was reduced from 5 years to hours. He showed he could break the rules, so they had to be split up.

I'd love to see more of their world and what's outside the walls. This is the episode I'm most curious about. I want to know so much about their world, and mostly who's pulling the strings. This episode could launch a series, perhaps.

@nathanj I think you got it wrong or missed the last scene: Frank and Amy were THE couple, they proved they were when they jumped the walls and the system showed up they rebelled 998 times to be with each other. The system split them up on purpose to push them until their breaking point and see if they'd do the "unimaginable" to be together.

@marasvinicus yup. The 1000 times they were together by the system was ok, but the real number was the 998, divided by 10 equals the 99.8% they passed the test of the system
