@pato22 She wasn't stupid, man. She had some kind of mental disorder. Probably schizophrenia or something. She said she could hear the walkers so she was probably hearing voices which fed into her delusions that they were still people. The show handled her well. A psychopathic serial killer in the making.

Lizzie was so damn STUPID AND ANNOYING. Kids who had it harder than her and younger than her would probably understand WALKERS ARE NOT PEOPLE ANYMORE FFS.
I also loved the "Mice and Men" reference at the end. Steinbeck, y'all :)
