I was captured from the first second until the last, unable to take my eyes off the screen for a moment. An amazing blend of the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows. What makes it special is that they're both lived and portrayed at the same time. From one extreme to the next, this movie takes you on a personal journey which I feel most would be able to relate to in some way or another. The emotions portrayed by Leonardo are so raw and touching it feels like you're in that movie, you're in that world. Some of, if not his best acting. The casting was brilliant, all seeming to work brilliantly together. Almost too fantastic to believe, Scorsese has created a wonderful picture that proves non-fiction can be all the more imaginative than fiction. The film flowed and the film flew.
