Sheehan was made to play Klaus, loved him in this episode. Love how faceted they all seem to get to be, too.
Well, crud. Every time I start to like the assassins and their quirkiness, they have to go and do something all assassin-y. In any case, Team Umbrella is gonna use time travel to save the detective eventually, right? I said Team Umbrella is gonna use time travel to save the detective eventually, RIGHT? :(
Ah, frick... I knew from the moment we met her that the detective would only be collateral damage, but I can’t help but take a liking to Ashley Madkewe because I was a sucker for one of her previous shows, Revenge
First episode I actually enjoyed. Previous had some amusement, but didn't really catch me. The drama has been just so very normal and boring. Now we finally have some more light on the mysteries but still the characters' story feel all so predictable. Excited to be surprised really, expect to face some unexpected outcome to all of them. Overall is being a nice and amusing comic book show. Music is excellent and actors are doing a fine fine job. The picture and costume is good as well
I think it's a testament to the strong writing in this series that Sheehan isn't my favorite.
The plot is picking up finally on episode 4. It's hard to complain too much because so much of the show is entertaining. But this is the episode where things happen like someone finally appears suspicious and an episode where someone else joins the dead. More importantly we apparently get a "full" understanding of what made Luther what he is today. Which is still too ambiguous for my tastes. Ellen Page's character and her "I'm no one so I'll be nobody" behind is literally the most boring person in this book. The most interesting parts of her story even at the end of this episode are that she has a very interesting name and her boyfriend.
Klaus finally stops being Nathan long enough to do something. Which is pretty Nathan of him. You can see from episode 2 people will non-stop be comparing Klaus to Nathan. But at least this episode he gets fleshed out finally, which is as hard as moving the plot when No 5 won't tell anyone anything, because Klaus is constantly high and acting all "Nathan-y". When you see a child with the power to speak to the dead you kinda assume they grow up messed up and Klaus is but this episode we finally get a little bit of a glimpse at what he could be if he weren't so messed up.
This episode's action scene is.. the motel shoot out. It's short but it's the most interesting sequence in the episode. Klaus uses the dead to sow strife among Cha Cha and Hogger (I foget their names), and uses their argument time to try to signal someone that he's trapped, and when he's about to be rescued a short but memorable gun fight happens ending with an escaped Klaus with the time travel briefcase. It's a calamity of moving parts that isn't stretched out because this episode actually has things to do. Finally.
Allison is beautiful.
diego cradling eudora's body saying "i was on my way. why didn't you wait?" is truly one of the saddest moments in tv history
I feel like some scenes go on too long for me to fully enjoy them.. I don't know. Solid episode tho, especially Klaus was great here!
First episode I haven’t hated Klaus. It was obvious that guy had alterior motives with Vanya the minute he appeared on screen.
why has their always got to be incest in shows???
it feels like its happening in more shows than ever! - got the vibe from episode one

Well, that certainly turned DARKER rather quickly. Vanya's new beau is at the least a next level stalker, possibly a serial killer, or, on a long shot, also "special" or, has knowledge of Vanya's suppressed (since childhood) abilities, which makes her either hella dangerous, thus the suppression, or part of Daddy dearest's diabolical experiment to see what happens if you take a "special" child, and tell them they aren't worth bothering about, until they lose any and all confidence in themselves. I REALLY hope she's dangerous, cuz, otherwise, Papa needed killin' real good.
Diego has got guilt transference down really good. Kills his own "Mom" and makes Luther feel bad about wanting to shut her down. Abandons the family and turns it to "well, why did you stay, the problem is YOU". Douche. Even when his Detective Ex girlfriend / booty call FINALLY does what he's been egging her on all along to do, breaks protocol, and pays the price, he transfers the blame to HER, asking "Why didn't you wait for me? I was coming?" Dude has MAJOR issues.
What if Vanya IS the cause of the end??? Just sayin'.
Yes, Sheehan has basically been doing a glammed up Nathan, but then he always plays some version of that character since Misfits IMO.
