Vanya is boring, but Klaus is super annoying. Klaus is easily the worst part of this show imo. The acting just doesn’t come out well.
I’ll tell ya, things are a lot simpler up there. [...] Quiet. Cold. And, ...lonely. Although every now and then... when the sun came rolling over the horizon just right and the light hits it, everything would turn to white glass. It’s.. it’s beautiful. [...] I didn’t really feel like a superhero up there, but those few moments when my whole world was glowing , I felt like maybe I was meant to be there.

Ti dirò, lassù era tutto molto più semplice. [...] Silenzioso. Freddo. E.. vuoto.
finally some action! boring first mns
So that's the side effect of too many steroids. :)
Well, it was opposite world this episode. Didn't move the plot along at all, but dammit all we broke a ton of crap and shot the hell out of some guns... Oh, and Luther is apparently Donkey Kong.....
Umbrella Academy is getting better. There's some more information on No 5 and what will basically be the major plotline. So at least the plot is starting to move. Between the monkey butler and the robot mother these kids are messed up. The scene with Diego and Mother really shows that. Still don't know how Ben died and I swear by my count we're missing a 7th child.
The relationship between Luther and Allison is interesting because I don't know what to make of it.
Even more secrets show up regarding the death of the father, and No 5's location is leaked to his enemies. I'm still waiting for some other secrets to leak like Klaus is talking with Ben constantly and whatever Vanya's inevitable super ultra power will be. Also what Allison said to Claire.
The show isn't as colorful as it could be. All the advertising suggested a vibrant show with a strong huge. Instead it is, not. But thankfully it isn't the dreary dull desaturated or grey/brown/darkgreen we often see in scifi shows.
The action scene for this episode is a shoot out in the mansion itself. The first action is Diego throws blades at the helmets which bounce off. But why? Why go for the head and not the body? Actually why didn't they throw another nice at the body since the heads are so problematic. Nevermind they do throw knives again. And we finally get what was hinted at before and that's a better look at what Luther can do and why he's so big. Or maybe not? It looks like instead it was just a view of why he wears long sleeve shirts.
Mary J Blige. I thought her voice sounded familiar. She's kinda putting it down on this show.
Dancing bathrobe Klaus is such a mood
A horribly senseless episode. To the house of "paranoid" afraid that "they want to get it" just so burglars enter and there is no alarm. The rest do not make sense either. If Dolores has been destroyed, it means that it can not be all after "endo of the world"!
Although Vanya has this pretty boring personality and her balmy voice kind of gives me the creeps, I still don’t understand why everyone is so goddamn mean to this poor girl? She literally just breathes and someone will attack her for it. I don’t doubt she’s going to SNAP at some point, and I can hardly even blame her for it
Klaus is hilarious! That scene where he is boogieing to his headphones oblivious to the battle going on in the house is priceless! Laughed my ass off!
The scenes with Diego and his mother are one of the best parts of this episode for me, in general I'm enjoying Diego's character the most (he's kinda unlikeable but he's well-written and entertaining to watch so- I don't only like him because he is hot I SWEAR...) Fives is great too though and his actor is killing it.
What this episode showed me is that I seem to be enjoying the other characters of the family more when they're all together than when they're on their own but we're still early in the series and I hope some of them can get a more interesting storyline, especially Vanya who desperately needs one.
A better episode than the rest. But the story is kinda moving along at a snail’s pace.
And WHY did Luther seem to just chill as the chandelier came plummeting toward him? He totally had time to move.
Robert Sheehan is an amazing actor. Watch Misfits for more dancing in a bathrobe.
This show has so many interesting and fun characters that it's hard to pick a favorite. And then there's mopey Vanya.

This is still just filler for when I dont have something I cant wait to watch. Entertaining enough but needs to start going somewhere soon.
