I was wondering if they were ever going to address why Percival doesn't just mind control everyone right from the start. They still haven't done that. In fact, now that they've shown him actually doing it, it makes less sense. Why didn't he just mind control Veronica so she did exactly what he wanted? The only answer is plot convenience. There is no logic to be had.
The fact that Percival wanted "more permanent lodgings" and that somehow means a champagne suite in a casino is so stupid. Buy a house, you fucking weirdo.
