5x07 Chapter Eighty-Three: Fire in the Sky

One thing the timeskip could have done for Riverdale was allow it to finally move past all the awkward, creepy, and nonsensical interactions that took place between teenagers and adults. Because now that the main cast has been aged up to ~25, they are adults, and it makes all the more sense for them to be doing some of these things. But, no, in true Riverdale fashion, they instead reversed the situation and now have the main cast, as adults, creepily and nonsensically interact with new teenagers. Fun.
Cheryl having a dance-off with a random teenager so she can coach the Vixens was cringe as fuck. Where is this entitlement even coming from? She hasn't been in high school for 8 years, and she is not a direct part of the school anymore (not a teacher). All of those kids should be like "who the hell is this delusional weirdo bitch?"

I don't get why they keep trying to shill Katy Keene. The show had already been canceled at this point. But they're really trying to drive that shit home, making sure Veronica says the full name Katy Keene multiple times...
