Wow, Chad (Chris Mason) actually has a great voice singing "Shallow". Veronica (Camila Mendes) did a great job as well.
After the Gargoyle King I'm not even surprised at the mention of 'Mothmen'. It's Riverdale, yeah this seems just about right. So this new mystery with the truckers isn't doing it for me. For one, I never cared about Polly and the first girl we saw we didn't even know so there is no love lost there and secondly, Betty is still in FBI training right? But somehow she can go to Riverdale and fling her badge around, no backup or anything especially after the trauma she endured by the Trash Bag Killer (Ridiculous Riverdale style name)?! And of course she strings along Kevin because why wouldn't a teacher help out on a potentially dangerous mission.
I honestly wonder why I watch this show but again... I'm too invested to quit. But why is THIS still going and Sabrina got cancelled... why?
I can only handle this show one episode every 4-5 months. Especially since it skipped years. I didn’t miss much. The usual sex, singing and Veronica’s daddy is still a dick.
Finally Veronica draws some damn boundaries against a shitty person in her life. They're trying desperately to introduce another mystery, but I honestly did not care about it.
They kicked the crazyness to a whole new level.
This show is just cringe now. It's always been so, but it has dramatically increased since the timeskip. The blatant shilling for Doritos doesn't help.
Riverdale does not need a jewelry store. They literally just showed and explained to us in the previous two episodes that Riverdale was one step away from being a ghost town. Who the fuck is going to be buying jewelry in a ghost town?
Betty says "it's too risky" to be having sex at Archie's place, even though Jughead is not home. So her solution is to have sex at the school? How is that not even more risky? And then they end up having sex at Archie's place later in the episode anyways, so that was a load of bullshit.
Tabitha supposedly walked away from six figure salaries to run a diner in a dead town. This show is so goddamn stupid. No one would do that!!
Oh, how come there were no teenagers at the White Wyrm now? When it was LA BONNE NUIT (say that in the most insufferable fake accent you can muster) it used to be the hangout place for all the teens to come and get served alcohol. Is that not the case anymore? Come to think of it, maybe that was the source of your troubles, Riverdale. You turned a blind eye and helped a generation of teenagers become alcoholics.
It was always dumb and cringe that Cheryl wore the HBIC shirt, because there's no way the school would let her get away with that. But Toni wearing the HBIC shirt now is unbelievably inappropriate. It's one thing when it was Cheryl, as a student. Toni is the goddamn school counselor. That is beyond ridiculous.
Who the fuck would want to buy a portrait of Jason? To them, it is a random dead teenager stranger. It has no value.
