Everything after the time jump seems to be more ridiculous than before and I didn't think that was possible. It's like the writers are constantly high while writing this show. After G&G, teens running a rum business, Jug faking his own death to escape a group of murderous preppy teens, Betty's dark side and Archie's hero complex, we now have Aliens referred to as Mothmen with of course an actual creepy mummified body provided by the weirdest grandma ever; Nana Rose... oh and a swamp full of bodies that is of course owned by Hiram frickin' Lodge. Well at least they never fail to surprise me and things never get boring in Riverdale.

Veronica and Archie are the worst couple :( LIKE WHYYYY. At least Betty and Jughead kinda make sense because of Lilly and Cole (not that I like bughead but I guess I get it) but I don’t get Varchie. Also another WHYYYY is kevin :( I would like to see a gay couple having an average happy relationship without the shame and the cheating and woods stuff

The crazy in this show has been kicked up few notches with this post time jump storyline. How drugged up are the writers to come up with this stuff. Just when I thought it can’t get more ridiculous, it got more ridiculous.

Why would any of them have agreed to go to this weirdo key sex party? It didn't even lead to anything - they all left. It was fucking pointless.
Nothing about it makes any sense.
Archie has been in the military for the past 8 years, but yep, he's totally willing and able to renovate an apartment at a moment's notice. Definitely is not very stupid and completely unrealistic...
haven't watched this episode yet but the writers are going to h*** for what they did

WHYYYYY why why why why did they have to bring Archie and Veronica back together. Most bland, chemistry-devoid, toxic relationship on this show. Archie's relationship with Betty felt so much more natural. Archie and Veronica could both date outside the friend group, could they not? Can Veronica not have a spicy relationship with a new character? Someone she has actual chemistry with? Can Archie and Betty find people outside their circle? Can the writers not let Betty and Archie's exciting romance last because they're too uncreative to write Archie with anyone but Veronica? Why does everything always have to be between these four? And why does it always have to return to Archie and Veronica? Why can't they let the old boring relationships die? Shoot me. These writers suck
Anyway besides that, Jughead going crazy is a hilariously bad storyline. Kevin and Fangs' relationship has no stakes in it, because they barely get any screen time, so anything dramatic that happens between them isn't really impactful or affecting. Cheryl continues to be awful and vindictive and entitled and manipulative and she reeks of "peaked in high school and can't get over it". And she's so weird man. The party shit was so contrived and so strange and so obviously driven by some ulterior motive and everyone was just okay with it?
Really didn't enjoy this one.
