cmon guys. this show is what it is meant to be: badass elite soldier eliminating evryone responsible for the death of his family. its no rocket science, its not worthy of an Emmy, but hey i binged it and liked it
I really hate the actors setup nowadays; so politically correct and so unrealistic. We need to have a Latino, Black, Asian, women, gays, etc. Just make an crew of logically apt people, not the 'representation' of your viewers or somekind of neutral political agenda. As if a movie portraiting the KKK would have any of forementioned diversities on their side of the fence 'to fulfill somekind of moral code'. Please Netflix stop doing this, most of your viewers are not dumb, linear or narrow-minded people.
Superb episode! You Just need to fantasize the backstory yourselves. There are enough hints to do so. It has nothing to do with bad writing. The main character plays marvelously. The cinematography splendid.

What a great show. Some caracters are so great. I mean Karl the lawyer for example is hilarious as he is annoying at the same time. Mr. Milligan dialog is great. Plus he has alot of potential of moving up, but downplays himself waiting for the right time to strike. Finally the suspense in these tete-a-tetes with Lou is just phenomenal. Great acting all in all.
Cowardice and betrayal in its purest form. Just amazing. That Lester is true survivor. He really don't care who he is sacrificing in the process. I really felt sorry for Linda though. And strangely for Lester also; She was the only one who really loved and adored him.
There are so many layers, i just dont know where to start: in the end it (always?) comes down to this: 1. unlucky person who tries to survive 2. Lucky person turned unlucky who tries to survive and 3. Unlucky person turned more unlucky who tries to survive. Also there is alot of morality involved: Unlucky person who not willingly sacrifices others for the benefit of others. Lucky person who willingly and ruthlessly sacrifices others for his own benefit. Unlucky person who willingly, but hesitantly sacrifices others for the benefit of others. And I also agree the common comments regarding the VIPs; these are really weakly casted and acted.
Good built up in this episode finally. Even Michelle got useful. Even though I found her a really annoying little foul-mouthed whench, I didn't expect her heroism and really pittied her in the end.
Okay. I guess they inhaled some Alien Spanish fly on this episode, because alot of sparks on this one. I do hope we get back at space exploration instead of the bodily one.
This is imo one of the best pilots i ever watched. I (ironically) felt almost all possible emotions (sadness, happyness, angryness, feeling triumphant and 'hate' (the arrogant people)) watching this screenplay, as the story and struggles of the protagonist were unfold. I hope the rest of the series keep up this high standard!
