Trying too hard not to judge it based on one episode only! But..
the "vibe" of the show is way different and demons look more like x-men than an evil creatures.
Being a faithful Charmed fan I really wish somehow it will work and if it doesn't still hope this attempt won't stop them from trying
to bring charmed back again. I'm praying that this works out and doesn't ruin the charmed legacy and it appeals to newer generations.

Arrow is becoming so BORING lately! it's not the same there's something missing but i can't put my finger on it.
That's why I dislike the idea of giving the queens the right to eliminate each other. This is shangela all over again.
They keep saying that they hope this show gives you encouragement to try your best/dreams come true if you give it your all, but
all I got from the outcome in this episode that even if you excel at what you do someone with the power over your fate could end it all
which doesn't seem fair but makes a good TV for sure! now we know 100% that trinity will win because the competition just voted out
for slaying it every week.

I loved the usage of traditional Arabic in this episode when she said: "Jarridnee min an-noor el-abadeyy".
it literally means "Strip me of my eternal light" being a true fan of the original charmed and seeing how they used an islamic
reference in the first episodes of the first season when they said the hand of Fatima showing a middle eastern culture.
now i'm glad to see they kept it in this season too using straight traditional Arabic and being a taboo side of magic too.
Love the show and i adore any type of art or shows that use cultures and religions in a respectful way that makes the veiwers
of the world feel connected and included it kinda brings people together and open doors to learn and admire how diverse our world is.
Well, that was predictable. i knew that the son is the nightingale. part of me was hoping for a shocking twist
for example the daughter turns out to be the the killer somehow or she's an accomplice in the crimes.
Half the movie passed with them playing 50 shades of grey roleplay! at the middle of the movie I was like is this even a thrill or horror movie!? and at the end it's the usual narrative of making women overpowered for no reason or a story that makes you buy it and believe that the woman is stronger for a reason but nah she just killed a being that lived for ages and seen\faced so many threats and tragic in the human kind history to be killed by this random girl who just got her power! OK! I guess!!
