Chainsaw man Season 1 grabbed my interest on the 1st episode & continued strong throughout the 1st season. If you like dark stuff you will love this. It has dark humor, a good origin story for our main character, and despite how dark it is the show manages to not take itself too seriously 10/10 would recommend.

I'm usually not one to watch a lot of romances, but this one had a good story, and good jokes. I like the way they show the different perspectives too.

My initial opinion of this show for around the 1st 8 episodes was meh. There was a lot of the same stuff going on with the spider, and the classroom portion was dull. Then around episode 9 the series started to hint around other things happening outside what we are shown, and the show starts to pick up from there slowly.

1st impression after a decade of not watching this show:

It cuts right to the chase. You see what diabolical thing the main characters do that starts off the whole series. It looks interesting, but I will need to watch a few more episodes before I get more of the feel for this show.

Berserk is one of my all time favorites. The character development & the story telling is legendary! Though the manga is superior to any of the shows I believe this show illustrates what happens in the original source the best. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys dark story telling with relatable characters.

TLDR: episode 1 is not the beginning it starts with episode 2. If you like dark shows & plenty of action you are in the right place.

I am doing a rewatch of Berserk. It is one of my all time favorite anime/manga so I am a bit bias. I intend to have my review reflect my opinion of the show with a refreshed perspective & ignoring what I have read in the manga. That being said I will always recommend the manga over the anime.

1st impression: the show throws you in the middle of the story right away. You get to see a world in chaos & a small taste of what torments the people and our main character. Ultimately we get sent back to the beginning of the story though. Episode 2 is where everything really starts. Lots of action, and it is as dark as I remember it being.

Not a bad start to the season. They touch on everything that happened in season 1 & remind us what the mission is. Plus a little investigation tid bit. I like the way they are going with mostly original characters on this one. It makes the story it's own thing.

The mandalorian season 1 is a good. It comes off as fan service, but I still think it is an enjoyable watch. The 1st & second episodes came off a little slow to me, but the plot thickens. 7/10 would recommend.

Season 1 of Haruhi is pretty good. It has weird humor, but that is the point of the show to begin with. I like it. The way Haruhi & the main character interact in the show is what sells the weird humor for me.

If you watch the 1st episode you get a pretty good feel for how the show will be going forward.

I'm giving Season 1 an 8/10. It's a good comedy, but it doesn't make my top 10.

1st impression: Weird humor, but it fits the show. Haruhi really knows how to demand things people, and the other characters don't know how to tell her no. Looks like this will be the dynamic for this show.

This is my 2nd time watching this series. I like the approach they made with this show having someone go from the present day world to a futuristic one that he does not understand. It feels more immersive this way. They do a good job building on to the F-zero world in ways you don't get to see in the games.

For those of you who like star fox it takes place in the same universe. There is an episode with James McCloud in it, and afterwards I thought I saw his machine in a couple scenes in the background.

I give this show a 9/10, would recommend if you like old style anime and/or sci-fi stuffs.

A little cheesy. This episode is the classic hero needs to save the world & gets the girl plot. It is also the episode that has the viral falcon punch meme scene from back when this show was popular.

It was really cool to see an official appearance of James McCloud in an anime episode. It makes me wonder a bit more about the F-Zero & Star Fox universes.

This episode is wholesome. The theme of the older generation trying to help the new generation find their place in the world is great. It even had some good jokes on the subject. Very deep.

first impressions after several years.

This is old school anime. I personally like the art style, but it won't be for everyone. The premise of a cop that also likes to race being brought into the F-Zero version of the future is interesting for me. you get to see how he reacts to the world around him, and it works as a good intro to the series. The plot reminds me a little of demolition man except there is racing & the future isn't full of people who can't stand up for themselves.

Season 4 1st impression:

This episode is different from the way the previous 3 seasons started. There is still the mysterious aspect where we have no idea what is going on, but it's creepy. I love it.

This Season started kinda similar to season 2. I saw what the scientists were doing in the lab & was like this looks familiar. I have to give this season props because the character development & humor was great! I still can't help but laugh at what it was like seeing Murray & Hopper interact with each other haha :joy:.

Overall season 3 manages to be a 10/10 in my book would recommend for sure.

Going into the second season I was introduced to new characters that were on the other end of the viking situation. It will be interesting to see how they tie this all together.

I like where they went with season 1. Character development was great, and so were the plot points. Plus it solved animes over explaining problem by making it a part of a battle strategy, and not over explaining too much outside of that.

This season is really intense. I just finished it not even an hour ago as I write this review. Gonna need to take a few days before getting into season 3. Holy crap!

If you liked season 1 it gets better! I like the character development in this season. The element of mystery stays strong :muscle:. Yeah, I can see why so many people rewatch this show :smile:.

Stranger things Season 1 is more mystery than it is horror. The show is very good at revealing just enough to keep you invested. There are many cliff hangers here that can make it difficult to wait to watch the next episode. Also the Lovecraft vibes are real, and I love it.

If mystery is your thing you gotta check this show out!

There was a solid foundation layed for the episodes to come. I'm not worried about having to watch multiple episodes to get into this one. Also loved the main characters story, and how he became chainsaw man.

The movie takes place after the show so if you haven't seen the show watch that 1st.

If you liked the show you will enjoy the movie. It is just as good as the show.

Started out a little slow. I had to watch a few episodes before I became more interested. However I like the premise. Also her relationship with God is humorous I love it!

I really enjoyed season 6. a lot of things payed off this season, and it was cool seeing how things turned out as a result of people losing faith in heroes.

Vineland Saga Season 1 was great! My favorite part about it is the character development. Especially for the main character, but there are plenty of other characters that have interesting arcs. The story throws a few plot twists here and there that had me going :scream:. Would recommend 10/10 in my book.
