To everyone asking why this is not Season 3:
Netflix divides each Season in 2 Parts.
Episodes 01-10: Season 1 Part 1
Episodes 11-20: Season 1 Part 2
Episodes 21-30: Season 2 Part 1
and so on...
i guess only americans still think hitler jokes are funny, the rest of the world evolved...
while the „lost world“ was absolutely magnificent the dialogues and the acting were horrible! I‘m not saying the concept was bad but the acting felt stiff and not commited as you would expect from these actors and the dialogues were just rubbish and pointless. The animation on the other hand was brilliant!
Generally I think this could be a great show but introducing what felt like 100 characters in different scenarios over the first 30 minutes alone might have been a bit too ambitious and made it rather hard to figure out what is going on with whom and where…
This is one of my all time favorite movies and I recently watched it again.
While reading through some of the comments here and on IMDb I can only assume some people are on a personal vendetta or something. The negative comment I read most is: "This movie is scientifically inaccurate".
My answer to those: Go watch a documentary then!
This is clearly a Science-Fiction movie so I don't get why you even would concider comparing it to real science. No one did something like that with Star Wars. So why all this stupid nonsense criticism. If you don't like the movie - fine! You don't have to like it just because the majority does. But not likeing it because it's scientifically inacurate or a C. Nolan movie is just dumb. You are just robbing yourself of 3 hours of staggering CGI worlds, a good plot, one of the best OSTs there is and sublime acting.
This movie is just giving you the illusion that it wants to be accurate, obviously it isn't. That's the beauty of this art. Just take it for what it is!

Absolutely fantastic! It reminded me so much of the Classic Top Gear Specials. Recent Specials were good but they were all missing something - they all felt a bit too scripted. This however was brilliant! One of the best Specials they ever did imo

From the start of its announcement this show brought out the most controversial discussions. So I followed the hype to take a look at what it’s all about.
I haven’t read any of the books nor did I play a single game so let me tell you: if you don’t know any of the stories and characters it’s kinda difficult to get into it. From the beginning it felt to me this show is directly aimed at the fans especially of the books. To me it seems like The Witcher is such a big story it must’ve been hard for the creators of this show to fit it into this show.
I get why fans of The Witcher might like this show so much and they have every right to. Storytelling is good although lengthy at times and as mentioned before it’s aimed at that audience.
For me as an „outsider“ this show is about average. Acting in many cases feels uninspired and a lot of the shows special effects and camera work feel like they’re pre 2010. And to be honest, I expected a little more from a show with this amount of advance blessings. At times you don’t really get where the show is headed especially as a virgin to this universe. Also character building and structure can be confusing at times.
Finally a word to the people who tried to tell everyone this will be a GoT-Killer: it’s not, far from it to be honest. Although I did NOT compare this show with GoT at any time during my watch through Season 1 there were a lot of Witcher Fans out there in the previous months who tried to paint that picture. Do yourself a favor and don’t compare those two shows. They have very different premises and both shows deserve to be looked at independently.
For Witcher-Fans: enjoy the show, it should be (almost) everything you were looking for.
For everyone else: give it a try but it just might not be your cup of tea.
From personal experience I can tell you that so many emotions and little notions in this episode are absolutely spot on! So far this show is very promising.
Lauren Cohan is THE worst actress of the show… other than that, decent episode
Tomorrow (or in 3 weeks) we’ll know if Trump’s being re-elected (or just says so) which is going to be the downfall of the USA. I still don’t get why so many Americans don’t see that, but well I’m from Germany - 87 years ago we had the beginning of our own. So who am I to judge :man_shrugging_tone2:
I know I’m late to the party but hell... that’s what I call a pilot!
Dialogues are soooo bad! for example: twice (!) Huck said "she's got a point" when she (Iris) really didn't! Who wrote this shit? A 5th grader writes more diverse than that... But overall, 99% of the plot is just pointless. Who thought this show would be a good idea? So far this is just terrible. Terrible, TERRIBLE acting. I mean come on. I feel like I'm watching some 90s drama on fox. And not the good kind. This has to pickup the pace immediately ... or die.
Great Episode, marvelous acting and tense setting. Nice twist near the end. I’m so glad, I forced myself through the horrible first three seasons, season 4 so far is turning out to be brilliant compared to the ones before!
If you’ve watched more than one action romance you’ve already seen this one. It’s the most basic plot without any surprises. It has to be said that J.Lo is in fantastic shape but unfortunately that can't cover up her (at best) mediocre acting skills. You've heard and seen all them laughs before so don't b disappointed if it doesn't make you laugh out loud. Recommended only for hardcore J.Lo fans.

For a global show like this one, which might probably be THE mostly global show of the UK, they shouldn't have gotten a host from the North. While I'm not a native speaker I don't have any problems understanding him, but I guess a lot do.
Anyhow the most anoying thing of this season might be the non-stop not funny bullying, especially against Chris Harris. It's very unnecessary. If it's more suttle, fine. But smashing a watermelon over his head just did it for me.
Top Gear is going in the very wrong direction for me, not only because of the hosts and the bullying. But because of it's concept. It hasn't evolved since the original crew left. And it really needs a change. It still has Clarksons handwriting all over it, but he's not in it anymore.
The BBC does it wrong, very wrong...
Finally the boys are back! Even though they’re getting older they’re still funny and enthusiastic about their show. I’m going to miss them when they retire, hopefully it’s not at the end of this season...
Episode 1 was great, funny, more than 1h long and pretty much everything I expected. 9/10!
I think … I THINK … we’re onto something amazing here. If this can keep up this level it’ll be named with the few big ones. I’m still hesitant to give this episode a 10, but it’s a fat feckin’ 9!
This episode is absolutely littered with overused catchphrases and dialogues.
4 brightly painted Scooters chasing a speeder that looks like a 60s Pontiac and the whole pursuit is taking place at 20mph… sorry but that’s not what I expect from Star Wars. Other than that I really like the show so far…

Ok... so I watched roughly 900 Episodes from all kind of shows this year and this is it! Hands down, this is THE best episode of my year. Maaan. I’m still in awe. I’m in tears and full of joy at the same time. Goosebumps are crawling up my neck and down my arms.
I rewatched the last 15 minutes now 4 times within the last 5 hours and even though now I know what’s coming I get the same exact reacting all over again ... every time. Just amazing
